On-call overnight monitoring

On-Call Overnight Monitoring: This service provides for overnight on-call assistance (either onsite or off-site) with, or supervision of, personal tasks of daily living. It applies to any day of the week and on public holidays. This support item is for an eight-hour period and includes up to one hour of active support provided to the participant for the duration of the period.

Our on-call monitoring includes

Personal Care

The carer assists with bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting the participant’s hygiene and self-esteem. This includes skin care, oral hygiene, and hair care, tailored to individual abilities and preferences. Personal care is crucial for maintaining good health and a positive self-image.

Meal Preparation

The carer prepares balanced, nutritious meals, catering to specific dietary needs and preferences. This includes planning meals, cooking, and aiding with eating if necessary. The focus is on ensuring participants enjoy healthy, tasty meals that meet their dietary requirements.

Medication Management

Managing medication involves ensuring timely intake, keeping track of prescriptions, and monitoring for side effects. The carer assists with organising medications, understanding dosage instructions, and liaising with healthcare providers as needed.

Toilet

Toilet assistance is a sensitive aspect of daily care, and our service approaches it with the utmost respect for dignity and privacy. We offer discreet and compassionate support for toileting needs, focusing on hygiene and promoting independence. Our staff are trained to provide assistance in a way that respects the individual’s comfort and needs. We aim to make this essential aspect of daily life as dignified and stress-free as possible for NDIS participants.
